
Museo Belber exhibits the private jewelry collection of Federico and Ellen Belber Jiménez, begun in 1965 as an appreciation of Mexican design and quality.
Museo Belber was opened in Oaxaca City, Mexico, in 2008, the next stage in their continuous commitment to Indigenous Mexican Culture.
The museum houses textiles, jewelry, clothing, and religious artifacts dating from the Pre-Columbian era to the Colonial and Post-Independant periods.
Also displayed are works of metalwork arts from 20th century designers such as William Spratling, Antonio Pineda, and Matilde Poulat.
Museo Belber is open Monday thru Friday, 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM and again from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM.
Saturday 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Admission is free.
